On collection of the rental bike you will need to pay the rental fee in full. We shall retain a £1500 deposit to cover your insurance excess (deductible). Our insurers require us to inspect and photocopy your driving license, passport and one further form of ID (usually your credit card).

We will then hand the rental bike over to you. It will be in good condition, clean and safety checked, we’ll give you guidance on the controls and any other aspects of the bike as required.

Our rental bikes are only for use on the Isle of Man and must not be taken off the island.

When you return your rental bike to us for inspection, we will refund your £1500 deposit minus the cost to repair any damage sustained to the machine whilst it was in your care.

Motorcycle Hire Frequently Asked Questions:

What side of the road do you ride on the Isle of Man?

We ride/drive on the left side of the road on the Isle of Man. This is also true of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Do you provide travel insurance?

No, please do not confuse our motorcycle insurance with travel insurance, as with any holiday it is advisable to take out personal travel insurance. Check that it covers you for riding a motorcycle as some policies do not.

What do I do in the event of an accident?

Jason Griffiths Motorcycles must be notified immediately of any accident.

Can you rent motorcycle clothing and helmets?

Yes we have a selection of helmets, jackets, trousers, boots and gloves for rent, though we find that most people tend to bring their own gear. If supplying your own gear, it is a legal requirement on the Isle of Man to wear a helmet, so that is a minimum. We suggest you wear the rest of the above motorcycle protective clothing for your safety and comfort, but that is your decision.

How do I make a booking?

Please contact us by e mail to make your booking – sales@jasongriffiths.im

Is there a time limit on rentals?

The minimum hire charged is one day. For TT & Classic TT the minimum hire period is 3 days.

Of course you can, our insurance covers as standard any named pillion passenger as long as we are notified in advance and we have details entered on the rental agreement.
